La prima volta in spiaggia Nudista (Ibiza)
Ricordo perfettamente la sorpresa e la curiosità che ho provato la prima volta che mi sono ritrovato su una spiaggia nudista, un’esperienza vissuta per caso durante il mio viaggio a Ibiza nel 2019. Non tutti sanno che, tra Spagna e Grecia, ci sono tantissime località balneari dove è assolutamente normale prendere il sole o fare il bagno completamente nudi, senza che nessuno si scandalizzi o si senta a disagio. Nel mio caso, ci sono capitato per puro caso, e l’ho trovata un’esperienza così interessante da volerla approfondire: da subito ho iniziato a informarmi sul naturismo, cercando di capire meglio la filosofia che ci sta dietro e le sue motivazioni profonde.
Ciò che mi ha colpito, e che vorrei condividere con chi non ha mai provato, è l’assoluta assenza di giudizio. Su queste spiagge non conta l’età, la corporatura, l’aspetto esteriore: ho visto persone di ogni età e fisicità, tutte accomunate da un grande rispetto reciproco e dalla voglia di sentirsi libere, senza filtri né pregiudizi. Nessuno guarda l’altro con superiorità o malizia, e proprio questo clima rilassato e naturale mi ha permesso di vivere il tutto con grande serenità.
Così, dopo un po’ di timidezza iniziale, abbiamo deciso anche noi di tuffarci completamente nell’esperienza, spogliandoci senza pensarci troppo e godendoci il sole e il mare nella maniera più autentica e naturale possibile. Mi sono sentito a mio agio, senza alcun imbarazzo: era come tornare all’essenza, senza sovrastrutture.
Informandomi poi ho scoperto che il naturismo è molto più diffuso di quanto si possa pensare, specialmente in estate: esistono moltissime spiagge dedicate, ma anche centri benessere, SPA e strutture dove è normale praticare il nudismo, anche se, per quanto riguarda queste ultime, non ho ancora avuto occasione di provarle.
Un’ultima nota, che forse farà sorridere chi conosce Ibiza: tra tutte le cose che ho visto su quella spiaggia, alcune sono state davvero… “inequivocabili”, con persone che si lasciavano andare a effusioni decisamente esplicite anche in pieno giorno. Ma, in fondo, Ibiza è anche questo: l’isola dove tutto è possibile e nessuno si sente mai davvero fuori posto. Forse proprio questa totale libertà e assenza di giudizio sono ciò che rende esperienze come queste così indimenticabili.
I still remember how surprised and curious I was the first time I found myself on a nudist beach—an experience I stumbled upon by chance during my trip to Ibiza in 2019. Not everyone knows that, especially in Spain and Greece, there are countless beach spots where sunbathing and swimming naked is totally normal, without anyone batting an eyelid or feeling uncomfortable. In my case, I just happened to end up there, and I found it so intriguing that I started looking into the naturist philosophy, wanting to understand more about its values and motivations.
What struck me most, and what I’d like to share with anyone who’s never tried it, is the complete lack of judgment. On these beaches, age, body type, and appearance don’t matter at all—I saw people of all ages and physiques, all sharing the same mutual respect and the desire to simply feel free, without filters or prejudices. No one looks at anyone else with superiority or bad intentions, and this relaxed, natural atmosphere made it easy for me to just go with the flow and enjoy the experience.
After a brief moment of initial shyness, we decided to join in completely, stripping off and soaking up the sun and sea in the most authentic, natural way possible. I felt comfortable and totally at ease—almost as if returning to a more essential, genuine way of being.
As I did more research, I learned that naturism is much more widespread than you might think, especially in summer: there are countless dedicated beaches, but also wellness centers, spas, and resorts where nudism is completely normal—though, I have to admit, I haven’t yet tried those.
One last note, which might make anyone who knows Ibiza smile: out of everything I witnessed on that beach, some things were truly… “unmistakable,” with people openly engaging in explicit activities even in broad daylight. But after all, this is Ibiza: the island where anything goes and no one ever feels out of place. Maybe it’s this total freedom and lack of judgment that makes experiences like these so unforgettable.
