Ship Visit MSC SeaView (2022)

Dopo tanto tempo lontani dal mare, nel 2022 ho finalmente avuto il piacere di tornare a bordo per una nuova Ship Visit, questa volta sulla spettacolare MSC SeaView. Parliamo di un vero e proprio gigante dei mari, sorella della MSC SeaShore, e una nave che già al primo sguardo ti fa sognare con le sue dimensioni imponenti e il suo stile unico.

Quello che rende la SeaView davvero speciale, secondo me, è la sua anima “open air”: la nave va vissuta soprattutto nei ponti esterni, che sono progettati per portare gli ospiti sempre a stretto contatto con il mare. Passeggiando lungo il ponte panoramico sembra di volare sull’acqua, tra viste mozzafiato e una sensazione di libertà che solo una nave così grande può regalare.
Le piscine, sia coperte che scoperte, sono veri punti di ritrovo per chi vuole rilassarsi o divertirsi, mentre gli ambienti interni colpiscono subito per la loro eleganza contemporanea: linee moderne, materiali di pregio e luci studiate per creare atmosfere accoglienti ma sofisticate.

La visita, purtroppo, è durata poche ore—davvero un peccato, perché la SeaView meriterebbe giorni interi per essere scoperta in ogni suo angolo, tra ristoranti, lounge bar, boutique e aree relax. Una menzione d’onore va sicuramente all’acquapark, dove sia grandi che piccoli possono tornare bambini per qualche ora: scivoli, giochi d’acqua e colori vivaci che portano allegria a bordo.

Mi è rimasta addosso la voglia di viverla appieno: già solo in poche ore la SeaView mi ha trasmesso la sensazione di trovarmi su una nave pensata per stupire e far sognare. Sono certo che prima o poi ci tornerò per una vera crociera, per godermi ogni dettaglio e scoprire tutte le meraviglie che questa nave ha da offrire!

After so much time away from the sea, in 2022 I finally had the pleasure of stepping on board again for a new Ship Visit—this time on the spectacular MSC SeaView. This ship is truly a “giant of the seas,” a sister to MSC SeaShore, and at first glance, it fills you with a sense of awe thanks to its impressive size and unique style.

What makes SeaView truly special, in my opinion, is its “open air” soul: this ship is designed to be lived outdoors, with exterior decks that bring guests into constant, close contact with the sea. Walking along the panoramic deck feels like flying over the water, with breathtaking views and a sense of freedom that only a ship of this size can offer.
The pools, both indoor and outdoor, are perfect gathering spots for relaxation or fun, while the interiors are striking for their contemporary elegance—modern lines, quality materials, and lighting that creates welcoming yet sophisticated atmospheres.

Unfortunately, our visit lasted just a few hours—a real shame, because SeaView deserves days to truly explore every corner, from restaurants and lounge bars to boutiques and relaxation areas. A special mention goes to the water park, where both adults and kids can let loose and have fun: slides, water games, and bright colors bring pure joy to the ship.

I left with a strong desire to return and experience it all: even in just a few hours, SeaView made me feel like I was on a ship designed to amaze and inspire. I’m sure that sooner or later I’ll be back for a real cruise, to enjoy every detail and discover all the wonders this ship has to offer!
