Il Carnevale di Gozo (2019)

Non amo troppo il carnevale, ritengo un po’ noioso guardare i soliti carri che sfilano tra strade piene di gente e quindi spesso evito di partecipare a questi eventi troppo di massa! Un eccezione L ho fatta a gozo (Malta) nel 2019, abbiamo preso un traghetto circa alle 8 di sera e siamo arrivati appunto a gozo, il carnevale di svolge di sera e fino a tardissima notte, non ci sono soltanto i classici carri ma soprattutto persone vestite in modo ambiguo e con diversi “temi” pronte a coinvolgere i presenti nelle danze.

La cosa bella è appunto che vengono coinvolti non solo i carri in se ma anche le persone! Successivamente viene accesa la musica e tutti iniziano a ballare in strada facendo diventare la festa una grande discoteca e si da inizio alla classica movida tra balli e bar. Siamo tornati solo il giorno dopo in albergo ed è stato un carnevale alternativo, lo consiglio a tutti coloro che non amano particolarmente questa festività in quanto è un modo "alternativo" di viverla.

I don't like carnival too much, I find it a bit boring to watch the usual floats parade through streets full of people and therefore I often avoid participating in these events too much of mass! An exception I made in gozo (Malta) in 2019, we took a ferry about 8 in the evening and we arrived precisely in gozo, the carnival takes place in the evening and until late at night, there are not only the classic wagons but above all people dressed in an ambiguous way and with different ‘themes’ ready to involve those present in the dances.
The nice thing is that not only the wagons themselves but also the people are involved! Then the music is turned on and everyone starts dancing in the street making the party a big disco and the classic nightlife between dances and bars begins. We only returned the next day to the hotel and it was an alternative carnival, I recommend it to all those who do not particularly like this holiday as it is an "alternative" way to experience it.
