Fiumara D'Arte (2020)

Questa storia inizia quando ho appreso che "c'è una piramide in Sicilia", allora la curiosità mi ha portato ad informarmi e scoprire che in realtà esiste un vero e proprio "museo diffuso a cielo aperto" nella provincia di Messina! Fiumara d'Arte nasce con la prima opera nel 1986 ovvero "la materia poteva non esserci" di Pietro Consagra, successivamente tanti altri artisti hanno installato le loro opere per lo più in mezzo al nulla creando Fiumara d'Arte!

Per visitare questo "museo" è necessario avere un auto e armarsi di parecchio tempo, pazienza e un buon navigatore in quanto le opere sono sparse in vari comuni (circa sei) e sono quindi distanti tra loro. La piramide 38° parallelo è parecchio scenografica ed è sicuramente una delle preferite dai visitatori insieme al "labirinto di Arianna" e "una curva gettata alle spalle del tempo". Esiste anche un'opera "sconosciuta" che sarà resa disponibile per volontà dell'artista solo dopo la sua morte. This story begins when I learned that "there is a pyramid in Sicily", then curiosity led me to inform myself and discover that there is actually a real "open-air widespread museum" in the province of Messina! Fiumara d'Arte was born with the first work in 1986 or "the matter could not be there" by Pietro Consagra, subsequently many other artists installed their works mostly in the middle of nowhere creating Fiumara d'Arte!
To visit this "museum" you need to have a car and arm yourself with a lot of time, patience and a good navigator as the works are scattered in various municipalities (about six) and are therefore distant from each other. The 38th parallel pyramid is quite scenic and is certainly a favorite of visitors along with the "Arianna's labyrinth" and "a curve thrown behind time". There is also an ‘unknown’ work that will only be made available by the will of the artist after his death.
