Cefalù è un piccolo borgo medioevale della provincia di Palermo che definirei "scenografico" in quanto è bello in ogni suo punto ed in ogni sua via. Ci sono stato più volte e l'ho girato a fondo, il posto si presenta bene ma è difficile trovare parcheggio soprattutto nel periodo estivo (ed è quasi impossibile parcheggiare gratuitamente). Ospita sia italiani che stranieri ed esiste una "via principale" lungo la quale si diramano tanti vicoli (alcuni di questi anche parecchio "loschi") e la spiaggia è meravigliosa.

La prima cosa che salta all'occhio è la Rocca di Cefalù che domina su tutto il paese e si raggiunge attraverso un percorso storico-naturalistico. E' da visitare anche il Museo Mandralisca e la storica Cattedrale anche se personalmente mi sembrava di trovarmi in un museo anche passeggiando per le vie del paese, lo definirei infatti come una sorta di mega museo medioevale e artistico a cielo aperto. Di sera numerosi ragazzi si riversano per le stradine del borgo e nei bar quindi esiste anche una "movida" soprattutto nei weekend estivi.

Cefalù is a small medieval village in the province of Palermo that I would call "scenegraphic" as it is beautiful at every point and in every street. I've been there several times and I've toured it thoroughly, the place looks good but it's hard to find parking especially in the summer (and it's almost impossible to park for free). It houses both Italians and foreigners and there is a "main road" along which there are many alleys (some of these even quite "lazy") and the beach is wonderful.
The first thing that catches the eye is the Rocca di Cefalù which dominates the whole country and can be reached through a historical-naturalistic route. It is also worth visiting the Mandralisca Museum and the historic Cathedral even if I personally felt like I was in a museum even walking through the streets of the country, I would define it as a kind of mega medieval and open-air artistic museum. In the evening, many boys pour into the streets of the village and in the bars so there is also a "mvida" especially on summer weekends.
